English Premier League giants Manchester City and Manchester United are among the teams reportedly aiming to sign Jamaican starlet Leon Bailey.
Bailey, who plays for Genk in Belgium and last year won the award for Best Young Player, is reportedly also being scouted by Chelsea and Liverpool. What’s more, the Belgium national side is said to be looking at luring the 19-year-old winger to switch allegiance and represent the European country.
The former Kingston College student scored twice last week for Genk in their Europa League defeat against Rapid Vienna. He scored six goals and recorded nine assists in last season’s Belgian league campaign.
Bailey has represented Jamaica at the Under-23 level but has no caps for the national side.
