Tifa has already begun touring the island and performing on Digicel’s Christmas promotional roadshows, the latest being the ‘Loaded Christmas’ roadshow.
Tifa has also appeared on television and radio ads for Digicel and, according to the artiste, the synergy is expected to bear fruit for both parties.
“I am overwhelmed at the opportunity to be one of Digicel’s brand ambassadors; this will definitely provide the push and publicity I need to further my career,” she said.
A release from Digicel says the telecommunications giant is happy with the partnership.
“Tifa has been part of the Digicel family for over two years and remains a big hit among our customers as she travels with us on our roadshows, concerts and other activities. We have watched her grow from strength to strength in the entertainment industry and have seen her phenomenal creative potential, but we know that this is only the tip of the iceberg of what Tifa can deliver,” said Shelly-Ann Curran, senior sponsorship manager at Digicel
“Digicel is proud to officially call this dynamo our own,” Curran added.
The ‘Certified Diva’ will be having a busy Christmas this year with a number of shows planned, as well as a short North America trip where she joins colleague Natalie Storm and Timberlee. Performing as TNT, the trio will be part of Toyota Scion new motor vehicle promotions in New York. It was put together by Max Glazer of Federation Sound and features other dancehall and international acts and sound systems.
Tifa has Move Ur Body and Nah Stop Shine, which are doing well. She also has new releases, which include Seh Mi Good produced by Washroom Entertainment, and No Push Over produced by Ward 21.
