The dancehall space has missed the nostalgic feeling that comes with the release of a big dancehall juggling. However, Antiguan-based music producer Orlando Graham of Top Chef Records is determined to change that narrative with the release of his latest riddim compilation which features some of the best and biggest names available locally. According to the producer, the project which features the likes of Capleton, Sizzla Kalongie and Chronic Law reminds him of the early 90s era which is widely regarded as one of the most prolific periods in dancehall music history.
“The goal is to return dancehall to the helm of world music or at the very least bring back memories of the 90s with this project. I deliberately blended the old with the new on this project and based on the initial feedback the project should be a huge success. As a producer I take pride in adding value to the space as such I plan to drop jugglings on a regular basis because dancehall fans worldwide miss that element” Stated Graham.
The Jamaican-born executive chef turned producer, Orlando Graham. says music has always been his passion and despite migrating to Bermuda to take advantage of a business opportunity he has always set his sights on being a dominant factor musically. According to the producer, he believes now is the right time for him to stamp his class in the musical arena by placing emphasis on creating quality music.
“Top Chef Records offers cutting edge recording technology and expert guidance focusing on the development for both aspiring and veteran artists, we invest in artist creativity and build artist repertoire.
