A big trend among rappers today is to claim to not writing down their rhymes in the studio and just going in with what they have on their mind, which Safaree Samuels told VladTV is “dumb.”

The Brooklyn-raised emcee explained that there is a process to planning out a song, and says that he maps out everything in the studio on paper. Staying on the same topic, Safaree spoke about working on hits like “Anaconda” and “Starships” with former girlfriend Nicki Minaj in the studio.
