Upcoming entertainer Ronimus has many reasons to feel elated at present considering the fact that he has been making big moves towards his musical goals. The musician who has worked with the likes of Kranium, Noah Powa and Runkus as a saxophonist says he has always wanted to become a recording artiste but opted to learn an instrument as well as the business aspects of the music before making his grand entry to artistry.
“I wanted to stand out so I had to fully understand both the technical and business aspects of music before I stepped out and based on the feedback I have received since the release of my first single it seems to have paid off. I believe the fact that I am a musician who has worked with several artistes as well it gives me a big advantage because it has allowed me the skill set needed to craft my own sound and style”Ronimus
Born Javed Wiggins, Ronimus who was Born and raised in Kingston but currently lives in Brooklyn, New York says his mother and his Kingston College classmates gave him the courage and tools needed to pursue his musical dreams from an early age.
“My mom bought me my first keyboard when I was around ten years old. Since then I have had different phases in music. From lunch time cyphers at Kingston College, to migrating to the United States, and being offered to learn how to play the saxophone by the church I was attending” stated Ronimus.
Currently Ronimus has his sights set on securing his musical break via his first project entitled “Ronimus”, produced by Rimel ‘Bittaz’ Smith. Which will has been available on all streaming platforms since December 8, 2020.
