(Kingston, Jamaica):- Catering for the fashionistas at heart, leading model agency Pulse last month held its 11th annual fashion extravaganza, Caribbean Fashion Week (CFW) at the National Indoor Sports Center in Kingston. The show lasted three nights from June 10th to 12th and each night consisted of immense anticipation and excitement with its own feature attractions.
The first night, dubbed ‘Caribbean Night’, featured entertainment from Trinidad and Tobago’s soca stars Machel Montano and David Rudder, along with Jamaica’s internationally known band Fab 5, who gave memorable performances. The beautiful and talented Jamaican songstress Tanya Stephens and her male superstar counterpart Mavado both gave energetic performances on Jamaican Night. The event culminated with International Night, which featured performances from the King of the Dancehall, Beenie Man, and R&B heartthrob Joe, who had the ladies eating out of his hands.
Fashion was the highlight of the whole event, and local, regional and international designers were all invited to showcase their pieces which were modeled by Pulse’s very own supermodels. Patrons were greeted inside the venue by a small exhibition which consisted of interesting makeup, clothing and accessory booths. An exclusive party bar for alcohol consumers and a ‘No Smoking’ lounge were also part of the attractive layout.
Overall the success of this event was evident by the look of satisfaction on the face of each patron and also a general feeling of anticipation for what Pulse holds for next year’s edition of Caribbean fashion Week.
