Last Friday, Nadine Sutherland switched hats from Rising Stars judge to performer at Mas Camp and wooed Jamaica with a dynamic stint on stage.
She started by sharing the stage with rising star Sandy Smith, who honoured Sutherland by performing one of her hits Rainbow, and she was left standing, as she joked with the audience about being the surprise guest act. She went into her hit Babyface and sang her new song Down on my knees, a single that has been building in popularity, as the lyrics and the sheer emotional delivery have listeners loving and feeling every moment of it.
She closed the set with the ever popular Action, dancing across the stage and deejaying Terror Fabulous’ part with aplomb. Sutherland showed she has crossed all age lines, her talent spoke, and old and young alike were jumping from the sheer energy of this talented performer.
