Lil Wayne Set To Re-Release Tha Carter III

Lil Wayne recently revealed that he will be re-releasing Tha Carter III with all brand new songs.

The superstar rapper divulged to MTV that he plans to release the new Carter III prior to dropping the highly anticipated Carter IV.

“A new Carter III with none of the same songs. None of them. Not one!” explained Lil Wayne. “It’s gonna be called … Tha Carter III: The Rebirth. The birth of a new beginning.”

Wayne revealed that some of the new songs featured on the new Carter III will include songs that never made the original Carter III.

“I had a song with [Luda] called ‘Eat You Alive’ that was supposed to be on [the first] Tha Carter III. That will be on the new Carter III,” Lil Wayne said.

No release dates for the new Carter III or Carter IV were revealed.
