Dancehall artiste KipRich has a lot in store for fans on this year’s Reggae Sumfest. Not only has he planned a dynamic musical set, but, on Sumfest’s Jagra Dancehall Night, he will for the first time, reveal one of his one-of-a-kind tailored Nuh Behaviour pieces.
The clothing line, which has the tag-line “Nuh Behaviour: A Life of Rebellious Style,” caters to both males and females and has for some time been creating a buzz across the Caribbean.
As a result, KipRich was even invited to be a part of the US Virgin Islands’ Fashion Week scheduled for October 6th to 12th; unfortunately, because of scheduling conflicts, he will be unavailable to showcase the pieces there.
He says, “A story came out overseas about the clothing line and the CEO of the Fashion Week contacted the media house and asked them for my publicist’s number and email. After that, we took it from there. But when it came down to it, I may be in Europe on tour at that time – I am not sure yet; so we are looking over the dates to see what I can do, or if it can happen. But it would be a good experience.”
The ‘Nuh Behaviour’ clothing and jewelery line will be launched at the Pepsi Playas Club at the UWI, Mona Campus, during the last week of August, so “for right now, what they will be getting at Sumfest is a glimpse into my creative side. They call me the ‘drama king’ in music and I can put that kind of drama into my clothes. It’s going to be a ‘Nuh Behaviour’ kind of style and performance that’s full of high energy to please the fans to the fullest when I touch the stage on Thursday night,” said KipRich.
