VladTV recently caught up with Kid Ink at the Jack’N For Beats contest in L.A., which the West Coast rapper said reminded him of his early days of trying to get on in Hip-Hop. The “Delirious” emcee explains that he used to do a lot of contests during his come up, and even admits to battling a couple of times.
The L.A.-born rapper has come a long way since then, and broke the record for most weeks at number one on rap radio for “Show Me,” which was on the charts for eighteen weeks. Former Cash Money rapper Juvenile previously held the title for his legendary track “Back That A** Up,” and Kid Ink says that they actually met up right after he broke the record.
