Jay-Z Speaks On 'Watch The Throne,' Illuminati Rumors

Since the release of ‘Watch the Throne’s’ first single ‘H.A.M.’ in January, details on the album have been scarce, but according to Hov, Kanye West is the reason for the delay. “Ye is just in an extraordinary creative place — so much so that I need to get him to focus so we can finish this,” Jay told SKY.

Jay-Z covers the May issue of Delta’s SKY magazine, and in a revealing interview, the hip-hop mogul shares some details on his upcoming album, ‘Watch the Throne,’ with Kanye West as well as addresses those ever-present Illuminati rumors.

“But music is his refuge right now.”

On the same train of thought, he also explained that skyrocketing success has made it more difficult to find time to create music. “Success takes you away from the music. Before success, there weren’t interviews or photo shoots, it was just everyday studio,” he said. “Now it’s a big thing to get in the studio. It’s like a process just to get there. And once I’m there, I have to dial into an emotion.”

With the release of his ‘Blueprint 3’ album in late 2009, rumors began to circulate that the Brooklyn-born rapper was involved in the Illuminati secret society. But Jay-Z’s response proves he’s not connected with the underground society that so often times is mentioned in his rhymes.

“I may sound a little arrogant but I just think people can’t handle when somebody is successful,” he revealed. “Something has gotta be wrong; you gotta be down with some higher power. And I guess when someone else is successful; it makes you feel like maybe you’re a failure. So it can’t be you, it has to be some other force

  1. Come on!!! So just because he says that your gonna say this proves it?! He is never going to admit that he is becuase then he would loose a huge part of his fan base. He knows what to say to keep the people guessing. Even when he was on the radio awhile back (forgot which station) he never said he believed in Jesus or Ali or Buddah or anything. He just said I believe in GOD. So which GOD? Must not be the christian God because he agian cleary stated “I dont believe in hell” So again he using his play on words to continue to mess with people because geeze with all that money what esle does he have to do but mess with people. You know he has seen the blogs, videos, pictures and websites talking about him and the NWO and Illumanti. Its fuel for him thow. Becuase really his money, his power is nothing compared to the people behind the scenes that we dont see. I hate to say this becuase it sounds ignorant but in a way he is just a house n*gga! He is a puppet to some degree. He is way up there dont get me wrong but come on people wake up! The people that still go out to his shows and buy his albums and Rocawear and Artful Dodger (if he still owns it) are those people caught in the trance of Hova. That cant turn on him because then your turning on Hip-Hop its self, there turning on all they know. Then your going against the grain which most people dont want to do. They all just go with the flow. No one fights for there rights anymore, people are zombies buying and consuming whatever the corprate companies are suppling us. Its sad because if you turn off family guy or Keeping Up with the kardashians and just spend that time looking for jour self the maby you would understand what all these people on the net are saying. O’ yea and the Do What Thou Wilt Shirt. a satanic saying that Jayz wore on on his shirt. Tand beyonce is no better. check out theindustryexposed.com and watch listen and learn. also vigilantcitizen.com. I mean all these other artist who left the game are talking about it. Check out Proffessor Griff from public enemy on youtube and he is geting on everybody. I challenge anyone to prove to me that withcraft or the occult in our music,
