Gucci Mane has reportedly been freed from prison four months early. Guwop’s lawyer, Drew Findling, told TMZ that the rapper was released from prison earlier today. The constantly embroiled rapper reportedly has already purchased a home outside the city and video has already surfaced of his girlfriend Keisha Kaoir gifting the 1017 don a new Maybach. Gucci will serve several months of house arrest followed by probation, but that shouldn’t stop him from getting back into the studio and the rap game ASAP.

Gucci’s release does come more than 116 days earlier than his scheduled release date of September 20, thus raising questions as to the reason behind his shortened stint behind bars.
Following his release, Gucci’s lawyer, Drew Findling, revealed the reason for his early release.
“The reason for his release date is myself and my legal team took the position that he was not properly deemed and then credited for the time he was incarcerated while waiting for his case to go to court,” reports quote Findling as saying. “We filed a series of motions after which being considered, the court signed an order in agreement with us. Bailor was sent to the Bureau of Prisons and his sentence was adjusted accordingly and he was released.”
