General B fined for ganja possession

Another member of the Monster Empire has been brought before the court for ganja possession.

Dancehall entertainer Dave ‘General B’ Parkes pleaded guilty to possession of ganja in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate’s Court on Monday.

General B was fined $100 or 10 days plus $500 court cost.

The court heard that on the day of the incident, General B was observed on Chancery Street upstairs a building with a white cigar in his mouth and smoke coming from his mouth.

On seeing the police, he hid the cigar.

He was then searched and a transparent plastic bag with vegetable matter resembling ganja was found in his right front pants pocket.

General B is the second member of the Monster Empire to have been held on ganja charges recently. Deejay Otis ‘Roundhead’ Morrison recently faced the court for possession of ganja. Roundhead had his bail extended and will return to court on November 22.
