Following the success of the recently held Owa Fest in Bowa Banks, East Kingston, recording artiste Dutty Lion and his Dutty Lion Entertainment will once again seek bring about harmony and positivity within the Kingston garrisons.

The Dutty Lion talent search is set to unfold over the next few months. The main objective of the series is to unearth talented individuals.

In a release to the media, Dutty Lion explained the objectives of the talent search.

“We want to unearth the next big artistes to support Jamaica. There are a lot of talented persons within the garrisons and we are also hoping to unite people and bring about some form of peace and unity with this project,” said Dutty Lion.

Over $100,000 in cash and prizes will be awarded to the winners. Additionally, the winners will receive a music video as part of their winning package.

The talent search is set to get underway in Kingston over the next few months.

The search will receive support from recording artistes including Determine, Mr. Banging, Shane O, Point Zero, Ricky Famous and DJ Semas.

Dutty Lion Entertainment and the new Dutty Rum are already confirmed sponsors.

Dutty Lion aka Father Lu recently released the video for the song Nicey Nicey done in combination with Shane O and Mr. Banging. His most recent singles include Golden Man which was produced by DJ Xyle for Xyle Records; and One Night.

Videos for both songs will be shot at the end of May in sections of Montego Bay, Bowa Banks, and Waterhouse in Kingston.
