Dancehall artiste Chozenn has signed his first management contract. According to the artiste, recently signed to Triple Dose Production, his new team is fresh in the industry but they have endless potential.
“Triple Dose will manage my career, we young but we have potential it’s a good and positive look for us,” he said.
Aside from his new contract, the young artiste also won the award for The Breakthrough Artiste of the Year, at the recently concluded Music Industry Achievement Awards ((MIA).
“I am grateful for the award because it shows that my hard work has been recognised, It’s my first award and I am working towards many more in the upcoming year,” he said.
The artiste is featured on the Supa Hype produced Crank It Up Rhythm which is soon to be released. Chozenn said he has a collaboration with established artiste Konshens, whom he descibes as his ‘musical brother’.
“Konshens has been very helpful in the development of my career. He is like a big brother to me along with Voicemail,” he said.
Chozenn has also recorded on SubKonshus the produced School Fee Rhythm, and is also featured in the accompanying medley video alongside Assassin, Spragga Benz and Konshens.
He is also aiming to shoot music videos for his popular single Backyard and a new single called Buil.
“My main focus is to do some videos and increase my visibility, it’s more about audio visual right now and getting the music out to the people in all forms,” he said.
The artiste is gearing up for the festive season with a string of performances such a Crank It Up at the National Stadium, The Maia Chung Charity among others.
Chozenn is also looking to collaborate with dancehall group Voicemail, UK-based dancehall artiste Stylo G and a UK rapper whose identity he did not wish to disclose.
