BTS: Tosh Alexander ‘Cum Yah’

Brooklyn-born singer and songwriter Tosh Alexander fashions a custom Annaixe emerald-green carnival-themed outfit with a Nefertiti-like crown on set for her new music video “Cum Yah,” directed by RDStudios.

In a recent interview with Wonderland Magazine, the artist discussed the importance of highlighting the Jamaican culture β€œIt was important for me to highlight the dynamic nature of the Jamaican culture through our fashion, attitude and art form. From the vibrant colours of the tropical landscape, the fashion, which pays homage to Caribbean and Dancehall fashion with subtle nuances of couture, to the grit of our expression throughout the video. I wanted the person watching β€˜Cum Yah’ to gain an authentic experience of my culture for those 3 minutes and 7 seconds.”

The songbird was styled by Neko ‘Bootleg Rocstar’ Kelly.
