(Kingston, Jamaica) The Boom 45 Fullyloaded Face-Off will change gears this weekend following last weeks intense round one face-off of the top 20 selectors. On Friday night Club Impulse was transformed into a war zone as as the 10 selectors from the Kingston, St. Andrew & St. Catherine divisions fired musical shots in three steaming segments which tested their mixing and crowd pleasing skills. With special guest judges on hand that batch of 10 was reduced to 4 and saw DJ Mario, DJ Whizz, DJ Rikochey and Close Range Sound all advancing to Round Two.

On Saturday night round one of the competition heated up even further when the remaining 10 selectors, mostly from out of town gave an awesome show for fans and judges in attendance. In the Freestyle / anything goes segment DJ Mowc and DJ Naz the lone female in the competition shined getting consistent forwards from the crowd and judges. Moving into the tune for tune section of the battle however other selectors such as DJ Jagga and DJ Swizzle were able to flex some muscles to pull through and complete the advancing 8 from round one.

With round two going down this Friday July 8th and Saturday July 9th respectfully, organizers of the competition has announced that 4 selectors eliminated in round 1 will return as wildcards in round two giving potential rivals a shot at a rematch. Coming back for a second chance at 1 million in cash & prizes will be DJ Blu from Montego Bay, DJ Surge from Kingston, DJ Brady and Junior from Kingston and DJ Chubrok and Sniper.

The only place to be this weekend is Club Impulse, there will be prizes and surprises from tittle sponsors Boom Energy Drink not to mention this weeks celebrity guest judges Wee Pow from the immortal Stone Love Family and legendary producer King Jammys.
