International recording artiste Black Mattic has shot the music video for his latest buzzing single entitled “4” which was shot in Waterhouse, Kingston over the weekend.
The music video was shot by on fleek video director Icey Jace Film Factory is slated to be released in a few weeks and according to Black Mattic it will be something to look forward to.
“Based on how well the shoot went and the team (Icey Jace Film Factory) that are putting the video together it will be something that the fans can look forward to. The song done a kick dem with a bag a flow and lyrics so adding the visuals should give the song the final push it needs to make it a number one hit” Stated Black Mattic.
The Waterhouse native who currently resides in the United States wears many hats including being a venture capitalist, deejay, producer and songwriter but says being a recording artiste is the most important area of focus.
Having already tasted international success in 2016 when he topped the British Virgin Charts with a 10 track Album and again in 2019 when charted in Europe and Korea respectively Black Mattic says he knows what the international market wants out of Jamaica musically.
“I am all about pushing our sound and brand globally as such the quality standard that we are working so hard to restore is crucial in ensuring the global growth of dancehall. More unity is also needed but that is a whole different conversation” stated Black Mattic.
Currently Black Mattic is busy in studio adding the finishing touches to his new 20 track album slated to be released in December 2021.
