This Summer has seen the resurgence of one of dancehall’s hottest camp and the momentum seems to be growing for the members of Jag One Production (J.O.P) spearheaded by Aidonia.
After enjoying a sizzling Summer with numerous overseas appearances and several high profile local events, including Fully Loaded and Appleton Temptation Live.
The J.O.P family has now teamed up with New York based dancehall connoisseurs Federation Sound to release another installment in their Mixtape series, this episode entitled ‘Bolt Action’ which features Aidonia alongside young gun Deablo and Big Ship recording artiste Chino.
Aidonia, whose real name is Sheldon Lawrence, is now in the final stages of preparation for a month long tour of Europe, but not before releasing his highly anticipated new video for the chart bubbler Evil Head on Russians’ ‘Nuh Fear’ rhythm.
The video was shot on location in Port Royal by Julia Braham of 1456 Productions.
Aidonia’s latest protégé, Tyrello ‘Chedda’ Johnson is also doing very well for himself with the official release of his collaboration video Make it Clap featuring labelmates Blak Diamon, Daro and Supa X. The video is slated to make its official debut on all major television and cable stations island-wide this week.
Following on the heels of his Pop Champagne single on U.I.M’s ‘Like Me’ rhythm, Chedda will now be focusing his attention on promoting the new single Stay Far featuring Blak Diamon, where he warns of the consequences of fake friends with bad intentions.
