Just minutes ago, incarcerated rapper Remy Ma was sentenced to 8 years in Manhattan Criminal Court today (May 13) for weapons and coercion charges.
Remy (born Reminisce Smith) was initially scheduled to be sentenced on April 23, however, Judge Rena Uviller postponed the trial until today, granting the Grammy nominated rapper’s attorney, Ivan Fisher, additional time to properly prepare for the date.

Grammy nominated rapper Remy Ma awaited her fate in Manhattan’s Criminal Court today (Mar. 27) as jury deliberations came to an end with a guilty ruling. SOHH was on the scene as the verdict was handed down.
After being found guilty on four charges, including assault in the first degreeand criminal possession of a weapon - Remy was cuffed and escorted out of the court. As the door closed, she could be heard crying out, “Oh my God,” and a female officer rushed to calm her down.

In this SOHH exclusive, Papoose clears up the rumors posted earlier on the internet of his engagement to Remy Ma and offers insight into his present situation after leaving Jive.
Despite recent rumors that have been spreading all over the net Papoose told SOHH that his engagement to rapper Remy Ma is false. Although, he did not deny that the two do “share a friendship,” Papoose strictly went on record stating: “It’s not true. [We're] friends.”
