Kanye West Swears He Didn’t Leak ‘Robocop’

Kanye West wasn’t kidding when he said his new album would feature the sound of the retro-rific 808 drum machine on every track. Over the weekend, a new song from the upcoming 808s & Heartbreak leaked: “Robocop,” the one ‘Ye collaborator Mike Dean said is supposed to get some added magic from Grammy-winning keyboard legend Herbie Hancock before the album drops November 25.

But West swears he wasn’t behind the song’s sneak peek. “I did not leak Robocop!!!” he wrote on his blog on Sunday. “That’s not even the finished version. I’m pretty upset about it, but that’s the way life is sometimes!”

50 Cent, Luda And Kanye Perform For Vets

50 Cent will join Ludacris, Kanye West, Hinder, Saving Abel and others to sollute veterans and current military personnel at a concert called “A Night for Vets: An MTV Concert for the BRAVE.” 50 was at rehearsals for the event recently at the Nokia Theater in Times Square where he performed his new single “Get Up”. The concert will mark the first time 50 will perform his new single on television.

After the rehearsal, 50 started doing some promotional obligations for his upcoming album “Before I Self Destruct” while the rest of G-Unit, Tony Yayo and Lloyd Banks, hung out and talked to MTV about mixtapes. Lloyd Banks told MTV that he is excited about his new mixtape called “Halloween Havoc.” Check out photos from 50’s rehearsal below! “A Night for Vets: An MTV Concert for the BRAVE” airs Friday at 8 p.m. ET on MTV.

Kanye West & Alicia Keys To Headline The AMAs

Mega-platinum selling artists Kanye West and Alicia Keys have been officially scheduled to perform at the American Music Awards (AMA) show in Los Angeles, California next month.

According to Newsday, both West and Keys, who are nominated for numerous AMAs, will be headlining the event as Ye is expected to perform new songs like “Love Lockdown” and “Coldest Winter” from his upcoming album 808s and Heartbreak. The performance will follow his highly received appearance at last month’s MTV Video Music Awards.

Kanye West Reveals 808s And Heartbreak Release Date During Surprise Appearance At T.I. Concert

“November something” now has an official number: November 25. On Friday night in Los Angeles, Kanye West announced the exact release date of his new album, 808s and Heartbreak, when he appeared as a special guest during T.I.’s MySpace concert at the Key Club.

West came out and surprised the audience, performing “Swagger Like Us” with Tip. The King of the South then turned the stage over to Kanye’s command, and the Chicago native went into the first verse of “Love Lockdown.”

Kanye West Will Not Face Felony Charges For Incident With Paparazzi

Los Angeles County prosecutors have decided not to file felony charges against Kanye West and his manager in regard to a recent arrest at LAX in which a paparazzo’s camera was broken.

According to the Associated Press, prosecutors have yet to decide whether or not they will charge West with a misdemeanor.
