A cross and angry Rodney ‘Bounty Killer’ Price spoke out for the first time about his recent European tour that saw three shows being cancelled ,allegedly because of gay activist groups.
It was reported that gay human rights groups had coordinated a European-wide campaign to halt Bounty’s Deadly Alliance tour of the Netherlands, France, Belgium, Italy, England and Switzerland, and were successful in stopping concerts in Bradford and Birmingham, England, and another in Essen, Germany.

Having achieved so much in life and in his musical career, Rodney Price aka Bounty Killer says he is satisfied.
“I can live with what I’ve got, I don’t have no crave right now, I’ve filled all my craves so it’s just long life and prosperity right now,” Bounty told The STAR yesterday.

Guyana’s state television and radio, National Communications Network (NCN), has now placed a ban on the music of Jamaican artistes Mavado and Bounty Killer, who were both banned from performing in that country last week by the government.
In an article published on Islandevents.com, a source for Caribbean entertainment news online, it was reported that all private programme producers who host programmes on the state radio, were asked to desist from playing the music of the two artistes because of the content of their lyrics.

Deejays Bounty Killer and Mavado, has been banned from entering the Guyana, the country’s Home Affairs Minister Clement Rohee, said yesterday.
A report from the Caribbean Media Corporation (CMC), quoted Rohee as saying that Bounty Killer, whose real name is Rodney Price, is known for his lyrics glorifying guns and bashing gays while Mavado is a security risk.

Another feud has reportedly developed in the dancehall as a result of songs done by Monster Empire and Bounty Killer. However, Monster Empire claim they did not provoke the brewing lyrical war.
Monster Empire, which comprises Roundhead, Ghost and General B, was formerly called Monster Shack Crew. The crew recently released a song called Nuh Bad Man Fi We on the ‘Unfinished Business’ rhythmfor TJ Records. The song hurls several insults at Bounty Killer.

Manager of dancehall superstar Bounty Killer has vehemently denied claims the deejay was stoned during a performance in Guyana on Sunday.
“That is total bull,” Jones-Griffith told The STAR yesterday. Instead, he blamed the premature end of the ‘Ignition Concert’, hosted by Wildfire Promotions on techinal difficulties.
According to Jones-Griffith, Bounty Killer was the headline act on the show which was packed with thousands of fans waiting to see the artiste, when numerous technical difficulties caused the artiste to end his set early.
