After a marquis performance in St. Croix over the weekend where she unleashed the full range of her soca-influenced hits and dancehall classics for an energetic and enthusiastic audience, Macka Diamond returned to the island to focus on the promotion of her new hit single, Think About It.
“It was a really good dance. There was a good turnout and the fans really responded well to the songs especially Groovy Soca and Hula Hoop – it had them going mad. I love St. Croix, the promoters really treated me well and I had a great time. But now I am turning my attention to Think About It,” Macka said.
She added: “We finished shooting the final scenes of the video in Pembroke Hall and airport road on Wednesday and it should be ready within the next two weeks.” The video is directed by Jay Jay, a female director whose growing body of work includes songs for Elephant Man and Spice.
