Ludacris is among several inductees in this year’s Georgia Music Hall of Fame ceremony. Joining the Grammy-winning rapper are Widespread Panic, deejay Hamp Sawin, guitar makers Fred and Dina Gretsch, R&B singer/radio personality Keith Sweat, and late Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Dottie Rambo.

Lil’ Wayne, T.I., Rihanna and Mariah Carey have all recently been announced as nominees at this year’s upcoming MTV Video Music Awards ceremony, airing this fall.

According to Billboard, all four performers will be competing in the best female and male video category. Carey’s “Touch My Body” and Rihanna’s “Take a Bow” will go up against Jordin Sparks’ “No Air,” Katy Perry’s “I Kissed a Girl” and Britney Spears’ “Piece of Me.” Usher’s “Love in this Club” and Weezy’s “Lollipop” will go head to head with Flo Rida’s “Low,” Chris Brown’s “With You” and T.I.’s “No Matter What” videos.

Rappers Give Their Opinion On Rick Ross being a prison guard

Various rappers recently gave their opinion to MTVon what they think about Miami rapper Rick Ross being a correctional officer in the past.

As reported earlier, a picture showing Ross dressed as a prison guard had been circulating the internet and Ross repeatedly denied being a prison guard and claimed that the picture was photoshopped.

Trina Involved In Belize Car Accident, Two Children Injured

Miami rapper Trina was involved in a car accident in Belize Friday, July 25.

According to 7 News Belize, a Ford Excursion carrying Trina and her boyfriend, NBA basketball player Kenyon Martin, was involved in a head-on collision with a van carrying two children.

The two children, Johnny Abraham (12) and Delane Abraham (9), suffered injuries which were not revealed.

When he was a child, he did not receive any rigourous voice or piano lessons, however, his mother spotted his talent early in his childhood, and encouraged him to develop it and entered him in local talent shows, many of which he won.
