
A fire that an official is saying is “definitely suspicious” ravaged a Long Island mansion owned by 50 Cent this morning.
According to Newsday, six people who were inside the house were sent to the hospital as a result. Eyewitnesses said one of the persons sent to the emergency center was Shaniqua Tompkins, the mother of 50’s son, Marquise, 10.

A man who used to work security for rapper Busta Rhymes was shot multiple times and found dead in the back of his pickup truck on Wednesday (May 28th).
Jermaine Williams, 35, of the Bronx, was found dead from multiple gunshot wounds in Ozone Park, Queens.
Police found blood dripping from the backseat of his SUV when they discovered Williams’ body, which was wrapped in a blanket in the backseat of the SUV.

International sportswear giant Nike has selected dancehall star Mavado to be part of the company’s latest consumer marketing campaign.
Nike recently commissioned Mavado to appear in an EPK (Electronic Promotional Kit) and to make an original track to support the Jamaican effort at the 2008 Olympics, starting August 8, in China. The company also made a limited number of sneakers to help promote the campaign.
